The funny thing about working in the marketing business is that, in the process of delivering services to clients, we often lack the time to market ourselves. Call it the ‘shoemaker with no shoes’ conundrum.
That includes making time to update our own branding. But with the occasion of our company’s 10th anniversary, we promised ourselves that we wouldn’t fall into that trap. We set out to reimagine our brand identity, website and many of our administrative processes to start 2020 off right. The goal was to enhance our service offering and convey a message about who we are and, most importantly, what we can help our clients become. The result is what you see here.
As you’ll notice, we’ve chosen a simple Helvetica font across the new website with a simplified logo that retains our namesake shockwaves as a key part of our visual language. Our colour palette has also been simplified, while our website has been completely rebuilt for greater dynamism, ease of navigation and to feature the informative content we intend to deliver in the coming months and years. Our goal is to keep you up to date on all of the news and developments relevant to your business from a branding, content marketing, strategy and communications standpoint. We also plan to have a little fun along the way, highlighting news or interesting tidbits, while bringing our unique insights and perspectives to the conversation.
Thinking, designing, writing and connecting in creative ways is the lifeblood of our business—and how we deliver results to our clients—which explains why we’ll be focused on helping you see the world in interesting new ways as we move forward.
But this is also a year for us to celebrate. Achieving a full decade in business is no small feat. We’ve gained a great deal of experience and expertise along the way, not to mention learning some invaluable lessons; some easy, some hard. As part of the rebrand process, we sat down to define our values as an organization, particularly how they relate to our clients and their businesses. Here’s what makes us unique:

- We seek inspiration everywhere. We draw on those insights and experiences and roll them into everything we do.
- We love to learn. In fact, we’re dedicated to constantly expanding our intellectual, creative, emotional and physical horizons to become slightly better people each and every day.
- We’re driven by that feeling you get when you know you’ve created something special. We can’t explain it, exactly. We just know how it feels. We crave it—and we can’t wait to experience it again.
That last one is especially important. We truly love what we do. Helping organizations succeed and grow delivers an emotional high unlike any other. Our goal is to experience that feeling a great deal more in the years ahead.
